Guidelines for oral and poster presentation

1. Oral Presentations

  • Time Allocation: Presenters are respectfully requested to structure their presentations to adhere strictly to the allocated timeframes, ensuring adequate time remains for the designated discussion periods.
    Invited Lectures: 25 minutes (20-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A).
    Standard Oral Presentations: 20 minutes (15-minute presentation followed by a 5-minute Q&A).
Short Oral Communications: 10 minutes (presentation only; no Q&A)
  • Session Protocol: Speakers are advised to arrive at their designated lecture room well in advance of the session's commencement to introduce themselves to the Session Chairs if they have not met them before. Out of courtesy to their peers, speakers are expected to remain in the room until the entire session has officially concluded.
  • Presentation Upload Guidelines: Presentation files must be provided in Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx, version 2020 or newer) or PDF format. A 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio is strongly recommended. For afternoon sessions: no later than 1:00 PM (13:00) on the day of the presentation.
For morning sessions: no later than 7:00 PM (19:00) on the evening preceding the presentation.

Please Note: During the submission process at the Slides Centre, presenters will have the opportunity to preview their files to ensure that all formatting, media, and transitions runs smoothly.
